Article summary

Length of Warranty:

1 Year

Fitment Information:

If you find that your vehicle does not have the footwell lighting feature, you have the option to connect the lighting system to the map light or the dome light during installation. For those of you installing this on a Gladiator Sport, it's important to note that the rubber grommet may appear slightly different from what's shown in the video guide. However, rest assured that the installation process remains unchanged.

Wiring Information:

If you're having trouble accessing the firewall on the passenger side, there are a couple of alternative approaches available to you:

  1. You can access the firewall through the cabin harness boot located below the battery. This can be reached from below by pulling the fender liner.

  2. Another option is to run the white wire across the firewall and tap into the white wire on the driver's side.

Troubleshooting:

  1. If you find that one or both units are lifting away from the fender, this typically occurs when the unit is not precisely aligned along the hard body line on the fender. This misalignment creates unequal pressure, causing the unit to separate. To address this issue, follow these steps:

    • Remove the unit.

    • Replace the 3M VHB Adhesive.

    • Re-install, ensuring that it aligns accurately with the fender contour.

  2. If you have a concern regarding LEDs that are clearly not working, please replace the unit following our photo warranty policy.

  3. If you encounter any complaints about water droplets or moisture, it's important to make sure this is not the initial occurrence of condensation. We only cover issues related to the accumulation of water. If confirmed, replace the unit as per our photo warranty policy.

  4. If you or the customer states that the white or amber lighting is not functioning correctly, please follow these steps to test the unit directly with the battery:

    • Connect the black wire to the battery's negative terminal.

    • Connect the yellow wire to the battery's positive terminal.

    • Connect the white wire to the battery's positive terminal.

If, after conducting this test, the LEDs still do not power on, contact customer service.
