How to Determine Lamp Type:
Identifying whether your vehicle has LED or Halogen tail lamps is simple. You can easily tell by the position of the Reverse Lamp.
For LED Lamps: The Reverse Lamp is located in the center of the lamp assembly.
For Halogen Lamps: The Reverse Lamp is positioned at the bottom of the lamp assembly.
Issue: Signal Out Error Occurs
If you encounter a 'Signal Out' error, please ensure that the included resistors are correctly plugged in as demonstrated in our installation video.
Issue: Reverse Light Strobes or Shuts Down
To resolve this issue, make sure all vehicle doors are closed and remain closed while in reverse. If doors are open, the reverse lights will turn off. If your doors are closed but the reverse lights are not working or strobing, here's why: Some Jeeps are configured from the factory to sense a specific wattage from the factory taillights. Halogen reverse light bulbs draw 18 watts, while ORACLE reverse lights draw 11 watts. This difference causes the Jeep's circuit to shut down. This behavior is not consistent across all Jeep models.
If you purchased product number 5882-504-T on or after 7/28/23, it should come with part number 5882-RES in the box. Ensure they are connected as per the diagram below.
If you purchased product number 5882-504 on or after 8/30/23, it should also come with part number 5882-RES in the box. Ensure they are connected as per the diagram below.
If your purchase was made before the above-mentioned dates, the solution is to use the Macro in Gorgias (5882 Reverse Light Resistor) to process part number 5882-RES at no charge. These are plug-and-play with the ORACLE Taillight reverse light connectors as shown below.
Issue: Customer States Reverse Lights Don't Power on After 5882-RES
If you find that your reverse lights aren't powering on after installing the 5882-RES, please check to ensure that the red wires on the 5882-RES match up with the white wires for the Reverse Light. If they do not match up correctly, the Reverse Light will not power on. See the photo below for an example of this issue. Simply switch the wires around to match up correctly, and the issue will be resolved.

Issue: One or Both Park Lights Not Powering On or Shutting Down
If you experience the issue of one or both park lights not powering on or shutting down, there's a known concern for some Halogen-Equipped Gladiators when connecting LED taillights. It's important to note that this is not a product defect, and you can resolve it as follows:
Remove the resistors that are plugged into the Flush Mount Taillights.
Set the Rear Lights to LED using a programmer like Tazer or JSCAN.
