How to Determine if you have LED or Halogen Tail Lamps - You can easily tell which lamp type by the position of the Reverse Lamp
LED - Reverse Lamp is in the center of the lamp
Halogen - Reverse Lamp is at the bottom of the lamp
Signal Out Error Occurs:
If you encounter a signal out error, make sure the included resistors are properly plugged in as demonstrated in the installation video.
Reverse Light Strobes or Shuts Down:
This issue can arise when the Jeep is factory-set to detect a specific wattage from the factory taillights. Halogen reverse light bulbs draw 18w, while the ORACLE reverse light draws 11w. The disparity is detected by the Jeep's system, which subsequently shuts down the circuit. It's important to note that not all Jeep models are configured this way, and we're unable to identify which ones are affected.
To resolve this issue, you can implement a solution by processing x2 PN# 2030-504 10w Resistors at no charge. These resistors need to be connected to the ORACLE Taillight reverse light wires, as shown below.
