Determining Your Tail Lamp Type - LED or Halogen
LED Tail Lamps: The Reverse Lamp is positioned in the center of the lamp.
Halogen Tail Lamps: The Reverse Lamp is located at the bottom of the lamp.
Resolving a "Signal Out" Error
If you're facing a "Signal Out" error, there's a solution available for vehicles produced before June 2022. Follow these steps:
For Vehicles Produced Before June 2022:
You'll need either the FLUSH-TSE or a programmer like Tazer or JSCAN to address this issue.
Using a Programmer (Tazer or JSCAN):
These programmers allow you to configure your vehicle's system (TIPM) for aftermarket tail-lights. This stops the system from checking OEM wattage values at the tail-lights.
Using FLUSH-TSE:
If you don't have a programmer, use part number PN# FLUSH-TSE to mitigate the issue.
Programming Tips:
If you're using Tazer, clear all Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC) before configuring the setting.
If you're using JSCAN, clear all DTC before performing this setting.
Contact Support:
If the issue persists despite following these steps, please contact the support for the programmer you are using.
Processing FLUSH-TSE:
A copy of the receipt is not needed.
Ensure you still have the Flush Mount Taillights.
If you've already resolved the issue with a programmer, DO NOT PROCESS this, as it can cause a continued error. Continue to use the programmer.
If the issue persists, please contact customer support.
If errors persist after installing FLUSH-TSE, ensure you reset the Jeep.
Issue: Blind Spot Error Message (New Installation - Not After Replacement RH Unit)
If you're encountering a blind spot error message after a new installation (not after replacing the RH unit), please be aware that this issue is not exclusive to ORACLE taillights. Vehicle systems that detect errors are unique to FCA and can occur with any aftermarket taillight.
The cause of this issue may be an incorrectly pinned wire at the BSM Sensor Plug on the LH TL. To check, please provide a photo of your plug, and compare it to the pictures below:
Fig 1: If the Sensor Plug is wired incorrectly, you'll notice that Pin 4 (White) and Pin 5 (Grey) are switched around. Ensure they are in the correct order for the system to work as intended.
Fig 2: Sensor Plug is wired correctly - Pin 4 (Grey) & Pin 5 (White) are in their correct places.
Regarding Flush Mount Tails:
Flush Mount Tails serve as a receptacle for housing OEM sensors, and no equipment changes occur beyond the shell. A plastic cradle inside the light housing allows the signal to pass through like the OEM lights. ORACLE Lighting tail lights do not interact with your truck's software. If all wires are in their correct places, there should be no sensor out errors.
Issue: Blind Spot Error Message (RH Replacement)
If you've received an RH replacement and are experiencing a blind spot error message, some warranty RH units come with an additional adapter (5882-BSM) in the box. Connect this adapter to the BSM Sensor Connector as shown in the provided picture.
