Wiring Information and Tips

The suggested wiring method can depend on the color of the product:

  • White: For white halos, it's ideal to wire them to your parking light or ignition.

  • Other Colors: If you're using any color other than white, you can wire them to a switch or remote. Keep in mind that colors other than white may not be street-legal in many areas.

  • ColorShift: If you're using ColorShift halos, you must use them with the ColorShift controller. You can find the controller either as part of a kit or separately.

Troubleshooting Guidance

  • LEDs Not Working: If you notice that some individual LEDs are not working, there's no need for troubleshooting. You can proceed with the warranty process mentioned below.

  • Entire Halo Ring Not Working: If the entire halo ring is not working, there are a few steps to take:

    • First, swap the LED Driver from the working halo to the non-working one to check if the driver is the issue.

    • Connect the halo directly to your vehicle's battery to see if it illuminates correctly.

    • Inspect the halo for broken solder contacts. If you find broken solder and the LED driver is not the issue, follow the photo warranty process.

  • LED Driver Failure: If you suspect LED driver failure, you can confirm it by swapping the driver from the non-working side to the working side. If the driver is indeed the problem, please follow the warranty process.

  • Discolored Halo: Unfortunately, if you notice that the halo has discolored, this is not covered under warranty. It's often due to factors like UV damage, oxidation, or environmental conditions. The yellowing usually affects the cover, which can be removed without compromising the waterproof quality of the halo. Alternatively, you can clean the cover with a standard lens restorer/cleaner.

  • 3M Tape Issue: If the 3M tape on the halo comes off, it's not covered under warranty. This can sometimes occur during installation, especially if the halos are not centered correctly. In such cases, you can re-attach the tape using a two-part gel epoxy to glue it back onto the halo.
